Mission Statement
The Graduate School of Tourism master’s program aims to equip students with a high level of expertise in scientific clarification from an interdisciplinary perspective. The program enables students to develop application and creative skills and also the ability to act from an international perspective.
Curriculum Policy
The curriculum is designed and implemented based on the following policy.
Perspective and Content of Curriculum
- Research theory subjects to study the theories and methodologies required to advance research are included.
- Research ability subjects to learn the skills and knowledge, including practical skills, required to advance research are included.
- Advanced theory subjects to acquire advanced expertise in tourism-related fields based on the social significance of tourism, interest in the region, and global perspectives are included.
- Specialized research in which students can carry out their research activities under the required ethical standards are included.
Teaching Mode and Methodologies
In order to cultivate advanced research ability related to tourism-related fields, classes will be conducted in a small-group seminar format to discover issues and solve problems.
Assessment Methods
Academic achievements shall be assessed via written examinations and reports according to the objectives and assessment criteria defined for each class subject.
